Short version: this site has no accounts, no shopping cart, and no advertising trackers. The only personal information we hold is what you put in an email to us.

What we collect

Information you send us. If you email sales@cnbwinch.com, we hold that message and whatever it contains — typically your name, company, and what you are asking about. We use it to answer you and to keep a record of the commercial relationship.

Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data: IP address, timestamp, page requested, referrer, and user agent. This is used for security and to understand which pages are useful.

No cookies are set by this site. There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel, and no third-party tracker embedded in these pages. If that changes, this page will be updated first.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell or share personal information.
  • We do not run advertising or build advertising profiles.
  • We do not use your enquiry for automated decision-making.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are kept while there is an active or prospective commercial relationship, and thereafter as required for accounting and legal purposes. Server logs are retained on our provider's standard schedule.

California residents

Under the CCPA as amended, California residents may request to know what personal information we hold about them, request deletion, and request correction. We do not sell personal information, so there is no opt-out of sale to exercise. We will not discriminate against you for making a request.

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our lawful basis for holding enquiry correspondence is legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry, or performance of a contract where one exists. International transfer

We are based in China and our hosting is in the United States. Correspondence you send us will be accessible to staff in both locations.
