Nothing on this website is an offer to sell. Product listings are descriptive. Supply happens under a separate written agreement — see how to buy.

Technical information is not advice

This is the important one. We publish specifications and summaries of cargo securement regulation because buyers need them, but:

  • Our regulatory summaries are not legal advice and are not a substitute for 49 CFR Part 393. The authoritative text is published by FMCSA. Where our summary and the regulation differ, the regulation governs.
  • Whether a given load is compliant is the carrier's determination. It depends on the cargo, the straps and hardware, blocking, and commodity-specific rules we cannot see from here.
  • Rated capacities apply to the product as supplied, used within the stated limits and maintained as documented. A tie-down assembly is only as strong as its weakest component.

Specifications may change

We may change specifications, finishes, or the product range without notice. For a build or spec package, confirm current figures with us in writing rather than relying on this site.
